The Pig - New Forest

For anyone who read my blog post about The Pig near Bath you will be pleased to know there are less photos in this one!

That's not to say that The Pig in the New Forest is any less desirable, I just thought I would narrow it down a bit more to some of my favourite photos.

As with any trip to The Pig, the first call of order is a cocktail in one of their living rooms. They provide board games and very cosy sofas.

Afterwards, I then like to wander about the grounds and see the piggies.

Have a good old sniff about in the greenhouses.

And photograph anything in sight.

I have promised myself this year that I am going to be more green fingered. Mr Poachie is going to build me a little veg patch so I can start growing things.

He isn't keen on the idea of having pet pigs and Llamas though.

The Pig hotel doesn't have llamas, I just want one.

The Pig in the New Forest is the original. After previously staying at the hotel in Bath, I think I preferred this one less only because it was so popular and the non staying guests made it feel so busy whereas the hotel in bath was very quiet.

I also think the rooms were nicer at Bath, it seemed bigger even though we booked the same style 'comfy luxe'.

No real complaints though, it was as fabulous as always and I really cannot wait for our next visit.

I have contacted them to book a room, I'm just concerned about how our stay will be affected with the lockdown rules.

As long as I can drink gin and talk to the pigs I will be fine!
