Borde Hill Gardens

What are your ingredients for a perfect garden?

Mine includes statues, water features, wild meadows and a ton of flowers. In short Borde Hill Gardens

Set over 200 acres with over 100 statues and sculptures, it really is a magical place to visit.
I think I did manage to photograph most of them but don't worry I wont post pictures of them all!

We followed the garden trail through the Azalea ring, formal gardens, the old potting sheds...

The garden of Allah, Paradise walk and my absolute favourite; The Italian Gardens.

There were rose gardens, old Victorian greenhouses and much more. I think if you are planning a visit then you should at least allow half a day for it.

Especially if like me, you want to take pictures of everything.

There were two cafes on site which is great for when you need a little pick me up in between seeing the rhododendrons and the roses.

It was one of the most diverse gardens I have visited and well worth the £10 ticket.

Does anyone else always think of the film 'The hand that rocks the cradle' when they see greenhouses?

This was a statue of Icarus. I cant remember how much it was but I think it was for sale and around £22k. Don't quote me on that.

All in all, a splendid day out.

Thanks for stopping by!
