Bodiam Castle

Mr Poachie and I often debate what constitutes a castle. He, for example doesn't feel that Scotney Castle is in fact, a castle.

I think that any grand architecture surrounded by water makes it a castle.

I hate to admit it but I'm not a huge fan of history, so please consider this fair warning that you won't find any interesting facts about the history of  Bodiam castle in this blog. Sorry history buffs.

Ducks having a feeding frenzy is much more my thing.

We have visited a few times over the seasons, there isn't a lot to see and do but its a nice place to stop off and have a wander.

Its also great to photograph on dark moody days...

And also on warm summer ones!
