Kingdom

If you live nearby, you probably have heard of Kingdom. What used to just be a cycle track is now a great place to eat, shop, yoga, get married, enjoy a gong bath... I mainly visit for the coffee and cake.

With superb views of the Kent countryside on a nice day you definitely want to bag a seat outside.

The menu/catering is done by I'll be Mother so you can expect fresh and fabulous cuisine.

Once you are done scoffing your face and catching up with girlfriends over lunch you can pop downstairs to The Hidden Hut which sells deliciously scented candles, galvanised tubs and planters and other bits and bobs.

I am a sucker for alllll of that kind of stuff!!

I haven't taken part in their yoga events but I should imagine it is a great location for it, set in the woodlands with those views, you feel calm just walking in there.

I'm not very good at yoga; I prefer pilates/strength training and its about a 30 minute drive for me so I don't visit their very often but it is always a treat when I do.

I am obsessed with galvanised watering cans!

Kent is filled with great places to eat and drink; we really are very lucky to have this all so close. As much as I like to be a hermit at home I do really love where I live.
