A little gift from Orelia

I never win anything!!

I know everyone says that but I am truly one of those people who's luck never seems to come in.

That being said, when I received an insta DM from Orelia London jewellery saying that I had won a £100 gift voucher I presumed it was a hoax or some fake message (insta seems to cause some interesting direct messages from randoms). 

To my knowledge I hadn't done anything to warrant such a gift and lord knows I am nowhere near influencer level! But I later found out it was because I had tagged them in an older photo as the bag I was wearing was from there (pictured later on in this post).

So once I received the code I had a look on their website and chose some lovely pieces, a few of which were in the sale and a few days later I received them if you would like to see...

I had already had my eye on some beachy, dainty pieces for some holidays that I have booked for next year; that is if COVID doesn't ruin our plans for two years running! 

So this was well timed and saved me some cash!

I am a huge fan of delicate jewellery, preferably in gold or rose gold. I also really like the layered or stacked necklace look.

I tend to stick to understated pieces of jewellery and I thought what I had chosen would be perfect for my holidays to Tulum and Ibiza.

I'm also a sucker for packaging and this came in a wonderful gift box.

The earrings I chose mean I might have to stop being a baby and get a second ear piecing in each ear. I have wanted to do this for so long but I keep putting it off. I'm sure its not a big deal and it will be over in seconds but I really hate needles!

This was the photo that won me the gift voucher when we went to the poppy fields. 

This photo actually bothers me because Mr Poachie didn't realise that my bag strap wasn't on properly and I am annoyingly anal about details like that! Sorry...

Here is another photo of the bag. I had wanted a straw rucksack for soooooo long and couldn't find the right one anywhere but I stumbled across the Orelia London bag earlier on this spring and it was in the sale so I thought I must have it! 

Little did I know that a few months down the line I would receive such a wonderful gift!
