Middle Farm

There are certain words that get me a little hot and excited.

Organic farm shop. Oosh! Delicatessen. Stop it! Artisan. OMG enough now!!

Middle Farm near Lewes is a powerhouse of all things farm life and fabulous.

With a butchers, petting zoo, deli, plants for sale and a cider barn its a fun place for adults and kids alike.

I have been a few times.  The first visit was to see the sweet new born lambies; You could queue up to feed them as well. I would have been too tempted to steal one.

There is a nice tearoom serving cake and sandwiches. I made the mistake of eating the enormous slab of cake first and therefore left no room for my sandwich.

They have llamas and goats, cows and donkeys!

Does anyone else feel they could spend more in a farm shop than in John Lewis? 

I love food shopping.

The last time I visited I was also heading to Glyndebourne so I stocked up on picnic supplies.

What's not to love! I cant wait for my next visit!
