Wine tasting at Chapel Down

Chapel Down sell the most delicious wines! I have wanted to visit their vineyard for so long but never got round to it for one reason or another.

Located in Tenterden its quite far from where I live so someone needs to drive and who wants to do that when there is wine to be consumed!

Last year we had tickets to see an outdoor production of 'Alice in Wonderland' at Smallhythe Place and when I realised that the vineyard was only a short drive away we obviously had to stop by.

Most people know that Chapel Down was the wine of choice for Kate and Wills at their wedding, and its not hard to see why. My particular favourite is the rose brut. 

It is so delicious.

They have a lovely little garden to wander around and you can also walk through the vineyards.

Before coming back and tasting the wine.

And then buying some wine! You can book in for a proper tasting with lunch but sadly we didn't have time.

 If you are local to the area then you should pop in for a tasting! They do also sell their wines at Waitrose and good local deli's.
