Hush Heath Estate

If I owned a vineyard it would be called 'Lush Heath Estate' as I am partial to a glass of fizz!

Last year, Hush Heath hosted a paella and fizz evening which was a really fun night out.

Upon arrival you were greeted with a cold glass of the Balfour fizz which is very nice. They had live music and there was time before dinner for a stroll around the grounds and inside the vats to see how the wine is made.

The atmosphere was a bit like a wedding, lots of excited chatter before supper.

We had four drinks to try throughout the meal, I found some delicious wines; a red and a white that I really liked.

We had some really amusing people on our table, they had clearly been drinking before dinner and were enjoying life immensely!

The grounds of the estate are really pretty and I'd like to go back one day and cycle or walk through the area and stop off for a quick glass of something cold. Its quite far away though and who can stop at one glass of wine!?!

I think the evening was a total hit, the wines were wonderful, I wasn't so keen on the saffron beer but I'm not an ale kind of girl.

I have seen that they have also hosted events like 'cake and fizz' mornings. It's a really fun idea and would be a nice treat for your friends and family.

I have a list of places I can't wait to get back to once lockdown is over and Hush Heath is one of them!
