The Ferry House

Last Sumer I was invited to The Ferry  House Inn, over in the Isle of Sheppey as they had recently undergone a refurbishment and wanted to promote their Summer menu, of course I was happy to oblige with such things.

Upon arrival, the group was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and then given a tour of the kitchen garden by the head chef. I love it when restaurants grow their own produce and use local suppliers for meat, dairy etc.

The tour was really interesting and the chef was clearly so passionate about his work and it was really insightful to know all of the different ways dishes can be made with seasonal ingredients.

After absorbing the gorgeous views over the harbour and the Kent countryside, alongside with some chef knowledge, it was time to be seated and served up their wonderful menu!

We were treated to a variety of different dishes which were all so delicious and beautifully presented.

There was a great group of people at this event so it was lovely to connect with some other photographers and likeminded people who work in social media and PR.

We were seated in their barn which was a beautiful rustic area, usually used for weddings.

The Inn is located in what feels like the middle of nowhere, down a long dusty track, but once you get there, it is peaceful and the views are really pretty.

And when the menu offers mouthwatering dishes, its worth travelling to! They do also have accommodation if you wanted to stay for longer and enjoy some wine.

This was a PR event, but all opinions are my own.
