Make it pink! Summer cocktails with Lanique

If you follow me on instagram you will know that my user name is @Lilly.thepink and I seemed to have earnt myself a reputation for loving all things pink, as I was recently gifted a bottle of Lanique liquor. A fun alcohol mixer that is made from rose petals and makes your drink pink, scroll down to find out more!

Lanique has been making drinks since the 1700's, they are creating a sense of 'La vie on rose' and are on a mission to add sophistication and creativity with a dash of splendour to your drinks.

It is a premium spirit with a beautiful natural rose flavour, which mixes perfectly with tonic, fizz or as a twist on a classic cocktail.

Lanique was first created over 200 years ago and was enjoyed by Kings and Queens across Europe. Rediscovered in 2015, Lanique is now produced in the UK using the original recipe.

I added a dash of Lanique to some raspberry belvoir and added some fresh mint and raspberries. It was delicious, the flavour is very delicate. I am looking forward to trying it with some champagne or perhaps in a cocktail.

I am no bartender but I'm sure I can rustle up something fabulous!

Previously enjoyed in the era of the roaring 20's, it does have an art deco sense to it and could be a wonderful drink to serve at a cocktail party or drinks reception.
