Glow wild at Wakehurst Place

Last year, Mr Poachie and I went to Glow wild at Wakehurst place. I do not care if it is for the kids! It is magical and I love it. The trail is about an hour, perhaps longer if you have children or someone who takes 10000's of photos.

I must admit, my night time photography isn't the best, it looks so great in real life but once you point your camera at it, it ruins it!

Trying to capture the moon.

When you arrive, you are offered your own lantern to take round with you and then follow the trail through the estate and see all the wonderful displays. I have been twice now and I don't think they change much each year, I don't think Mr Poachie would want to go every year but it is definitely worth visiting at least once.

I also believe that Wakehurst has the tallest Christmas tree in the UK? I might have that wrong so please don't quote me on that! Either way, it is very impressive.

This is cool the way the light display falls onto the backdrop of the building, its a moving display (as in like a video, not emotional).

You can hear the robins chirp as you walk past.

The Moon and stars are my faves, I love anything celestial and they hang them over a pond so the reflections make the whole vibe really dreamy.

I really like starting traditions and I do hope this becomes one, most of my friends have young children so I am sure I can tag along with them one year if Mr Poachie really doesn't fancy it! We usually go out for a nice pub dinner afterwards to warm up with a hearty meal.

In Kent and Sussex there are quite a few places that do these illuminated trails as they have become so popular. Its a great way to start December and feeling festive!
