A visit to Scotney Castle
A few weekends ago, I booked us tickets to visit Scotney Castle. Lockdown has made it so difficult to find things to do so we thought we would make the most of a dry Saturday and go out for a change of scenery and some fresh air.
I do love Scotney Castle and it's a good place to visit in the Autumn as the colours and the reflections on the water are so pretty. I prefer visiting the National Trust places in lockdown with the timed entry, it makes it much less busy, you can guarantee a parking space and its a calmer vibe overall.
The one thing they do need to sort out is the queue's for campachoochoo's, it takes forever wherever you go! Must learn to be more patient.
I had bought a new ribbon for my hair and had a vision of how I wanted this image to look. I had spent ages getting my hair nice and wavy but when we got here the wind picked up and it started to rain so my ponytail looks a bit flat!
Just gorgeous. I was hoping some duckies would float into the frame but alas if anything I think I scared them away.
Ho Hum another weekend done!
There will be National Trust Saturdays to follow shortly no doubt.
