Hole Park Wealden Fair

Usually when I visit Hole Park Gardens it has been to promote their bluebells or the gardens in general, but today I went to visit the Wealden Times Midsummer Fair

If you have been reading recently you will know that I have visited a number of fairs and antique shops!

The fair had over 200 stalls, selling plants, log burners, cushions, clothes, garden accessories and so much more.

In truth, it wasn't my cup of tea, it felt too commercial but they had so much on offer and tickets were only £14 which included entry to the gardens so after purchasing a dahlia, I had a wander around.

The gardens are so wonderful here, I loved seeing the roses and the borders. I bumped into Quentin, the head gardener and we had a quick catch up which was nice.

He told me that they had received over 2000 visitors!

After making my purchase and having a wander I was ready to leave. I'm not fond of busy places and although it is great to see places like this doing really well after lockdown, it's not for me so I headed off.

Very happy with my new plant though!
