Castle Combe
Castle Combe is a really beautiful part of the Cotswolds, it was about an hours drive from where we were staying but we had managed to fit in all of the other places in with lots of time to spare so after a lazy morning we got up and made our way there. We always listen to pod casts when we are driving on long journeys, the Joe Rogan podcasts have been really good to listen to.
Now we couldn't find anywhere to park and ended up with a parking ticket :( so if you are heading here make sure you use the free parking just up through the village. We didn't think in this tiny village there would have been a traffic warden but he must have been hiding in the bushes.
The doorways were too distracting to worry about parking tickets!
Castle Coombe is again, very small. We were here early but it did start to fill up with tourists. There is a pub and the Castle Inn hotel which is where we had the most delicious lunch of truffled macaroni cheese with crayfish tails. It was sooooooo good.

I need more ivy clad buildings in my life, they are so pretty. It gave me all the Autumn feels.
We had to get this shot whilst we were here, but it had been raining so I ended up with a very wet bottom!
I'm not keen on having my photo taken unless its from the back but Mr Poachie is always taking cheeky photo's of me strutting about. And then on the one occasion I did ask him to take my photo (below) because I was feeling sassy in my swooshy skirt it was really raining hard and we were late for dinner, he was like 'really? you want a picture now?' when you feel good you feel good!

Our last supper was at The Lamb Inn In Burford and we splurged and had big fat juicy steaks with triple cooked chips. The diet starts next week!
And yummy prawns to start, I chose crab and lobster ravioli.

Again, I was really feeling my hair clips and insisted on another photo to document the celestial romance of it all.
