Autumn walk at Penshurst Place

Don't you just love a Sunday stroll?

Especially at this time of year when the colours of nature make life look so beautiful.

My friend Tilly and I met up at Penshurst Place to make use of our historic houses membership, it's always great fun catching up with and she kindly agreed to do some modelling for me!

Wherever I go, a Hill & Ellis bag will follow and doesn't she look gorgeous with the burgundy leather satchel?

Swoon.

Penshurst is such a grand venue, we both feel that we were born in the wrong era but we would have needed to be from rich aristocracy, natch. Whilst I love the idea of swanning about in fancy dresses and bonnets, I know I would be permanently cold!

We spent about an  hour or so wandering through the house and around the gardens. It was one of those gorgeous October days and I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than with a friend having a natter.

Thankfully, despite being a big influencer herself with a diary jam packed of paid gigs and even recently having been filmed for one of her campaigns, she wasn't a diva to work with...

We just can't resist a door/gate photo.

Once we were finished at Penshurst place, we parked at the village pub and had a wander through the church graveyard and it was mu turn to model. I think she captured the bags really well! This will definitly be featuring on the Hill & Ellis insta feed.

To finish our day, we popped into the Leicester Arms for a g&t. Sometimes it's hard to have a proper catch up when you both want to take photo's so it was a cameras down and gossip sesh. It's nice to have met someone who has so much in common, we are both unofficial step mums who work in Insurance full time but love social media and photography so we are never short on conversation.

I could have easily stayed all afternoon nattering by the fire but we were both driving and needed to get home  to start Sunday lunch.

Until next time!
