Bargain hunting in Brighton

We recently visited Brighton which wasn't planned but it was such a gorgeous day we thought we would make the most of it. We had been talking for a while about visiting the flea market as we have previously visited Lewes and wanted to continue hunting for more treasures for our new home.

The flea market was fun but it wasn't as well stocked as the Lewes one. We bought some cool movie prints to hang up at home and Mr Poachie bought a wooden hippo which we have named Henry.

Afterwards we walked through the lanes and were getting hungry so we headed to Franco Manca which I really like. I haven't had a pizza in over three weeks as I have been on a diet so I enjoyed every.single.bite.  I always order the margherita because even though its basic, its the best.
The dough was soft, the cheese was gooey.
Delicious.

Feeling full and content, we headed to the lanes for a nose around the shops and ended up at the beach.

There was no wind which made it so lovely to enjoy the warmth and the whole place was buzzing. I don't like cities or busy places as I get nervous being around so many people but it was fun to visit and walk off some of the calories we just scoffed, which included an ice cream!

We walked along the pier but didn't go into the arcades or go on any rides. It was just nice people watching (except for the loud drunk people swearing).

After walking around 13,000 steps, we headed back to the car and went home. Brighton has so much to offer and its a great place to go for food and shopping. If you are visiting England or if you are planning a day out, then you should definitely visit!
